Daily journal July 17, 2000, Funerals are not celebrations, cell phones and buying peace.

The meetings at Camp David where we are trying to buy some more peace in the Mid East and save the world are just do appeasement to delay the obvious. We are still paying on the Jimmy Carter Camp David peace agreement about 4 billion per year each but so what, it is just money. God's peace when He comes is the only real peace we shall know.

Let us live Lord to our fullest potential and serve Thee full time and worship Thee.

A sad day today as I attended the funeral of a cousin, George Manning Bridwell, a good man who died on Saturday of a heart attack. George Manning was 68 but looked 45 with all his hair still in place and missing none. The organ played and the minister spoke to the grieving family with my Aunt Wyonia present, George’s Mother. The speaker began by announcing "We have come to celebrate”. I have not come to celebrate but to mourn and pay my respects to the family for this terrible untimely loss of a man that lived a life pleasing to all and never criticized. The minister read from Psalms 45, 116 and 145 as follows " Precious in the sight of the Lord is a death of His saints". Psalms 116-15. The

Bible allows a time for mourning. They would even hire mourners to mourn the dead.

Psalm 46-1”God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.2-Therefore”

Jack LeLane was on Larry King live tonight at 85 and was as spry as ever and was so enthusiastic about life and health, saying that at age of 15 someone asked him to stop all sugar as a vegetarian other than fish, he looks like he feels great and has quick response to talk and sing. Besides having health clubs in the West, he had done a live television show with a dog-named Happy for many years. Who can live without this formula?

Big tobacco is fighting an award judgment of $143 billion, a jury found them guilty of lying to the public. The cell phone industry is also on still now failing to warn the public that the microwaves from a cell phone may damage one's brain and especially in children. I believe that I have an ear plug connection to my phone that even though I carry it for security mainly, I seldom use it. The industry has stonewalled the news of the danger, of vital information concerning the safety of cell phones. One commentator stated on network TV today that the FCC should be controlling be cell phone industry, instead the cell phone industry is controlling the FCC. Cell phones are declared a highway danger.

Brian Bex was on TV C-SPAN this morning, a founder of Remnant Trust in Washington, D.C., preserver of truth and saying many good things as a matter of information. For example he stated that the federal government has failed to account for the money they receive such as Social Security benefit funds that according to their latest report, they are not able to show an accounting of their income as they expect business to do. People assume that if you oppose the present administration that you will vote for George Bush, not true in my case. I prefer a Libertarian or Constitutional Party. I vote my conviction .

I have said to open your eyes in prayer and now I'll say to close them at all other times to avoid seeing this the world and the mess we're in. The deterioration of cities and phony drug war has advanced our cause to draw out more to fight crime and keep the peace.

We should feast on the wonderful Word of God daily and enjoy the richness of nature.
